Those of you that are familiar with He-Man, you know that Prince Adam uses the Power of Greyskull in order to turn into the Superhero He-Man. Now before I say anything, Know that I love my wife very much. She is a princess all the way. Like Prince Adam, Grace Calls upon the Power of 'Grace'skull in order to turn in to the Devourer!! Grace is the smallest, cutest little woman, but when she sits down at a table an amazing transformation takes place. She can eat more than any girl I have ever met, which is awesome. We went to eat at Joe's Crab Shack for her birthday on Friday and she ordered one of their new steam pots. This thing had tons of food in it, it was crazy. When the waitress brought it to the table and set it in front of her, she looked so happy. I got a picture of it, it was so cute. After about half-way through our meal I started watching her eat and realized that she didn't use any of the tools they brought her to open the crab, she was using her teeth. It was so cute. The waitress was shocked when we ordered seeing that she ordered the steam pot and I ordered a salad. (which I didn't even finish) So, in the middle of Grace's feast, the Waitresses made her stand up on her chair while they sang happy birthday to her. Poor little girl had food all over her and was trying to wipe her hands off before she got up. I wish someone else was there to see it. It was an awesome evening!! (I got Grace's permission before Blogging any of this) I posted the pictures from our dinner down below!!

Yes...My Awesomeness is the Most Awesome!!

We are in Oklahoma City this weekend for the Temple!!! Grace is going to do Baptisms for the first time and we are really excited for her. Anyone who has been knows how awesome it is and how Spiritual it will be for her. So, the OK City is a 3hr drive from the Buren...Lukas does good for the first hour but then starts to get a little restless. He is definitely his fathers son, can't sit still for too long before the world starts to end. Us being the perfect parents that we are let him stand up in his car seat for a few minutes. He was looking out the back window watching cars go by why the cars were looking at us as if we were Brittany Spears. Yes I know that he should always be in a car seat and always be buckled in, but let's be real here. After about 15 minutes of yelling he makes an excellent point, we agree to terms and let him out for Furlough. One of these days I am really gonna have to take a stand and be the one in charge.

After our great Drive West we finally got to our destination, The Hampton Inn: Oklahoma City Northwest. We decided to get a bite at the Corral, Golden Corral that is. Which like usual was a massive selection of less than par tasting food.... it is about the Quantity not the Quality. Which left me with a wonderful case of heart burn!!! I love growing old. Of course, after a meal as good as that the only cure is Swimming!!! So we hit the pool for a good swim. Lukas is a Water bug, like most kids his age are. He loves to splash around and kick his feet. We are working on getting him to be able to go under water on his own. Right now I will just blow in his face

and dunk him. He handles it fine, not anything like he used to. He is a blast to watch in the water. I will hold my hand under his stomach, keeping him afloat and he will kick his feet and splash his hands like he is swimming. We will have to take some video and put it on here. After Lukas got enough water we got out and I dried off Lukas and Wrapped a Towel around him like a big boy. It looked so cool, we got a picture of it and I am posting it with this blog. Check it:

Ouch Mommy!!

Friday night Lukas was having a hard time sleeping. He would sleep for about 15-30 minutes, then wake up screaming. It seemed at times that he was having really bad dreams just because of how hard he was screaming. We had gone to Magic Springs that day and I thought he might have a sunburn or might be getting an ear infection. He had been drooling a lot also, so teething was an option. After a long night he finally got a little sleep as did his mother and I. The next night was the same thing all over again. Except this time his mother was, let us say, not very helpful. Just a quick note, I know exactly where Lukas gets his "Fit throwing" abilities, and it isn't me. Lol, I love you. I spent most of the night up with Lukas trying to get him to calm down and get some sleep. We finally got to bed by about 5am and woke up at 8:30am for church. It was a rough weekend. Come Monday, Grace took Lukas to the doctor to get checked out. The poor little guy wasn't teething he had come down with "Hand, Foot and Mouth" disease. I had never heard of it but I guess it is pretty common with kids his age because they put everything in their mouths. So all of those times that I told Grace to quit freaking out about Lukas putting stuff in his mouth had come back and bitten me in the butt. It was funny when Grace told me that we are no longer going to play the "5 second rule" game. Haha..She is cute like that. So poor little Lukas had gotten these sores on his hands, feet and inside his mouth. On top of that he also had an ear infection. My poor little boy. He is doing better now and back to his energetic self, just a little sore and not allowed to bite daddy's toes or eat "found" food anymore. HAHA We love him tons.
